Chelsea starlet Lewis Baker will spend next season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, the club has confirmed.
The midfielder, who is also captain of England Under-20s, has become the lastest player to make a temporary switch from Stamford Bridge to the Dutch Eredivisie side, from whom the Blues have developed strong ties with in recent times.
It is hoped the move will aid the player’s development.
‘We have agreed terms with Vitesse Arnhem for Lewis Baker to spend the 2015/16 season on loan at the Dutch club,’ said Chelsea via their official website.
Baker spent the latter half of last term on loan at MK Dons, helping the side secure automatic promotion to the Championship.
