Aston Villa have offered Dutch giants Ajax £1.5million for their young left back Nicolai Boilesen.
Boilesen, 23, is a full international with Denmark and has earned 15 senior caps having established himself int he first team at Ajax following his move from Brondby in 2010.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood has already strengthened his defence by recruiting former Manchester City man Micah Richards on a free transfer and has earmarked Boilesen for the left hand side of his new-look attacking full-backs.

According to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet - #AVFC has offered Ajax £1,5m for Danish international Nicolai Boilesen - Ajax wants £2m.

Boilesen has had his critics during his five seasons on the books of Ajax though, 72 appearances and labelled ‘fragile’ among the terraces is something to fear for the Villa faithful.

With four Eredivisie winners medals to his name, Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet believe Ajax are hoping for a transfer fee in and around £2million.
