Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is closing in on his return to action after suffering a horrific leg break last season.
The 20-year-old has had his career put on hold following his record £30million transfer from Southampton, a horrible double-leg break suffered in a Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven after clashing with Héctor Moreno ruling him out.
Shaw returned to light training in April but has yet to be seen by Manchester United supporters in a red shirt having failed to get fit in time or the FA Cup final versus Crystal Palace in May.
The Red Devils travel to Shanghai for the first pre-season preparations under Jose Mourinho and, when they face Borussia Dortmund on July 22nd, left-back Shaw is well in contention of making a return.
Mourinho called his team back to training this week and, with attentions turning toward the start of next season, Shaw sent a message out to the United fans as he aims to get back to his best:
