Chelsea striker Diego Costa has dropped a massive hint on Instagram that he’s set to complete a transfer move to Atletico Madrid.
Reports suggest the La Liga giants are closing in on a deal for Costa this summer and, following the Blues’ 1-0 victory over Liverpool in the International Champions Cup, the 27-year-old appeared to say goodbye to his team-mates.
The striker wrote, ‘Thank you very much for all my friends!!!’, alongside a photograph of Kenedy, Willian, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and himself.
It’s understood that Antonio Conte was keen on keeping hold of Costa but it remains to be seen if the Italian boss will be successful in preventing him from leaving ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
Earlier this summer, the London outfit completed the signing of Belgium forward Michy Batsuayi from Marseille to help ease the pressure on Costa.
