An official announcement is expected shortly after Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne was spotted in Manchester on Saturday ahead of a reported £54 million move to the Citizens.
Man City have been in talks with the Bundesliga side for the past two months in regards to a move for the Belgian superstar and it appears they've finally hit a breakthrough in discussions.
Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs confirmed as much, stating that De Bruyne would be a Man City player by the weekend.
"We will complete everything either tonight or tomorrow. De Bruyne is off to Manchester City," he told reporters.

"I explained at the presser that we had begun talks, those talks have progressed. Now only minor issues remain."
The former Chelsea playmaker racked up historic numbers last season as he scored 10 league goals and broke the Bundesliga record for assists with 21.

Wolfsburg manager Dieter Hecking voiced his belief that his side would cope without De Bruyne after beating Schalke 3-0 on Friday.
"It's always possible that both De Bruyne and Perisic get injured. Are we supposed to lose without them? This is again a question that answers itself.
"This team is full of professionals and they want to win games, even when one or two players are missing. So they didn't have to make a statement."
