Di Maria, 27, struggled to make a substantial impact in the Premier League and his future at United looks uncertain after the Reds signed Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger and PSV's Memphis Depay.
According to Mercato, PSG are in contact with United over acquiring Di Maria in a transfer move worth around £46m.
A source close to the club reportedly said: 'The player wants PSG, Manchester is not opposed to his departure.
'It just requires that all parties meet there and that Paris is not the fall guy overpaying wages or transfer.'
