Nicolas Otamendi¡¯s agent has flown out to seal a transfer to Manchester United, according to reports.
United have been chasing Valencia centre back Otamendi for the last three transfer windows but despite reports saying personal terms have been agreed, no fee has ever been sorted.
However, with the news that Otamendi has apparently gone on strike to force a move to Old Trafford, AS says the player¡¯s agent has flown out to seal a switch to United.
The Spanish newspaper says meetings will take place in the next few days and while Manchester City have also been linked, United are the only realistic destination.
Otamendi has a release clause set at ¡ê35.5million but United hope to get him cheaper.
