Manchester United are set to make a new approach to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid, according to reports.
United were strongly linked with a deal for Bale at the start of the transfer window, but the player refused to move after new Real manager Rafael Benitez promised to build a team around him.
But the Daily Mirror says Old Trafford sources have confirmed United are still keen on Bale, and a new approach is set to be made to sign him.
Madrid value Bale at £95million, and while United have spent a huge chunk of their transfer budget, they do have the resources to fund such a big deal.
