The 29-year-old's career has hit the skids since leaving Newcastle United for PSG, with regular playing time becoming increasingly important as France prepare to host the 2016 European Championships.
And according to the Guardian, Cabaye is close to resurrecting his career a Crystal Palace after the two clubs struck a preliminary deal to bring the midfielder to Selhurst Park.
The fee is thought to be around £10million, which would constitute a new club record, although the player is yet to make his mind up over the switch.
While Cabaye is understood to be keen on a reunion with former manager Alan Pardew, he is keen to Palace's plans for the transfer window before committing his future to them.
