Stoke City have completed a deal for Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen.
The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Potters, and becomes their second signing in just a day after Ramadan Sobhi.
On signing for Mark Hughes’ side, Allen spoke of his excitement at playing for the Premier League side.
‘It’s been a whirlwind 48 hours for me but I am delighted to have finally been able to put pen to paper,’ said the Wales international.
‘I was really excited as soon as I heard of the Club’s interest and it wasn’t a difficult decision.
