Chelsea will be without the services of Brazilian midfielder Willian and Spanish International Pedro when they confront Arsenal at the weekend, according to manager Jose Mourinho.
Pedro missed the Blues 4-0 thumping of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the UEFA Champions League yesterday while Willian, who coincidentally opened the scoring, was forced off after just 23 minutes with a muscle problem.
"Willian is out for sure, I think Pedro is out for sure. I prefer problems when players are playing well than problems when players are playing badly," Mourinho told reporters after the match last night.
The Premier League champions have struggled in the early parts of the season as they have managed just one win from five domestic outings in a run of form that has left them 11 points behind League leaders Manchester City.
Mourinho's side sit 17th on the log and will be desperate for a win against the Gunners, and what is more interesting for football watchers will be the bitter feud between Arsene Wenger and the Portuguese which will most likely be on display again.
