Arsenal were tipped to be Chelsea's biggest tittle rivals at the beginning of the season, but after opening their campaign with a 0-2 loss at home to West Ham, many people changed their minds. After playing two matches at home Arsenal are yet to win or score a goal, I think this will change on Saturday when they face Stoke.
The Gunners created enough chances to win against West Ham and Liverpool but their attackers have been wasteful, clearly demonstrated last time out against Newcastle where Walcot, Chamberlain and Giroud all missed great chances. But believe that's about to end and that it will start on Saturday against Stoke City for a couple of reasons.
Stoke have lost N'zonzi and are in the middle of adapting a new ball playing style, compared to their old physical style, this is a style that Arsenal master.
Stoke aren't as solid at the back and have failed to keep a clean sheet in all 5 matches of season so far, they have only won in the Cup against Luton on penalties.
Afellay and Adam, Shawcross, Odemwengi are out while Diouf is doubtful for Stoke
Wilshere and Welbeck are out for Arsenal
Stoke City will attempt to get a result from this match, but they have to work better as a team if they are to avoid losing, they showed signs of this against Spurs to secure a draw after being down 2-0. The problem is the amount of key players out as well as going to The Emirates to face a squad hungry to get their first home win.
Arsenal have won the last two home matches against Stoke under Huges, in both matches the Gunners scored in both halves.
Arsenal may have had a slow start but so have the other "Big 5" apart from Man City, so they aren't too much pressure but will surely want to win. They have created loads of chances and will continue to do so, all that's left is finishing them!!
Arsenal vs Stoke City betting tips conclusion
"Pick Arsenal to score in both halves"
"Odds - 1.90"
"Date 12 Sep"
