The Blues boss reiterated his desire to sign a new left-back while speaking to the press ahead of Chelsea's opening fixture of the new Premier League season against Swansea tomorrow.
The west London club appear short at the back following the departure of Filipe Luis, but Mourinho has admitted the club are actively searching for a suitable replacement.
'It is something that is easy to agree between all of us in the club,' the 52-year-old manager said.
'It is not a situation where the manager says one thing and the board says another thing. It is a basic thing. We only have Azpilicueta. We need a left-back. We all know that.
