Arsenal are growing increasingly confident that they can seal the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, and could clinch an £11million deal for him by next week.
Arsene Wenger's side appear to have moved into pole position to sign Cech, with the 33-year-old previously expressing his desire to remain in London after his departure from Chelsea.
And although Jose Mourinho is reluctant to sell to a rival, Arsenal are increasingly optimistic about concluding a deal for Czech international, and according to the Daily Mail they could complete the signing by the end of next week.
The Gunners are understood to be willing to offer £11m for Cech, with talks over the move expected to intensify in the coming days.
